Summer in South America

We will be going to Ecuador and Peru this summer with Global Ventures, a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. From June 15^th to August 1^st we will be working with Rich & Elisa Brown, a missionary couple in Ecuador, traveling throughout Quito, Bramadora, Reten, and Peru. Among other ministry-related activities we will be visiting a day care center that brings children out of a garbage dump where people eat, work and even live. We will also be working with short-term teams (about 200 people) in the construction of an orphanage that will accommodate 45 children who either have no parents or whose parents have been deemed unfit to care for them.
